Easy Methods to Charge your Crystals

Crystals tend to hold on to the energy they're exposed to, which for sure isn't always a good thing. So, if you want to get the most out of your crystals, it's important to charge them periodically, and there are a variety of different ways to do so. Today we will present to you some different crystal charging methods to try.

Placing them under the Full Moon

The full Moon is a decisive phase of the lunar cycle, it is a phase of cleansing, and it does work wonders for clearing and charging your favorite crystals. 

To do this, place the crystal outside on the ground, overnight on the night of the full Moon, to charge it with lunar energy. If you don't want to go out in the middle of the night, you can simply put your crystals on a window that gets moonlight.

Moon water bath.

Another excellent moon-related crystal charging method is to bathe them in moon water. All you have to do is place your crystals in this lunar-powered water for around an hour. Alternatively, you can also pour the moon water over your crystals. Be sure to only do this with stones that can tolerate getting wet.

Bury them into the ground

Burying your crystals helps them get fully charged with energy from the Earth. To do this, Dig a small hole where you would like to bury your stone, place the soil you have removed into an earthenware pot or jar, and then bury the crystal in the ground within the pot or jar. After that, put the pot into the hole and cover it completely with the remaining soil. Make sure to leave a marker in the place you buried them and let them be there for at least one week.

Burn incense or herbs close to them

Some incense and herbs possess properties that can cleanse your stones. All you have to do is burn your sacred herb of choice (such as sage, sweet grass, Palo Santo, or cedar) or incense (such as sandalwood, lavender, or jasmine) and pass your crystals through the smoke for two to three minutes.

Cleansing visualization

To use the cleansing visualization method, all you have to do is picture universal, healing light filling your crystal up until all the old energy has been dissolved.

Visualize the light expanding until it surrounds the stone and fills your hands. Intend that all negativity be removed from the stone and dissolved. When you intuitively feel that the stone has been cleared, you may stop the visualization.
